Technical Specs
5" Storz Standard Cap x 4.5" NH/NST Female Thread Fire Hydrant Converter.
1-
Storz Head & Cap Assemblies:
The storz head, ramps and lugs are forged 6061-T6 and protected by a hard anodized aluminum finish. All components meet or exceed NFPA standards.

Screws:
Three stainless steel screws secure the storz head to the male fire hydrant nozzle.

Gasket:
The storz cap is provided with a suction gasket

Cable:
The storz cap is provided with a 0.125" cable protected with a vinyl sleeve. the cable is looped around the center of the cap and crimped with a swedge which is covered with a vinyl coating to prevent surface scratches.

Reflective Tape:
Each adapter comes with six reflective NFPA tape colors for color coding based on flow rates, or water main size. A tape groove is machined into storz adapter to protect tape from scratches or peeling. Tape and color choice can be applied in the field.

Hardcoat Finish:
Aluminum anodized to Mil-A-8625, Type 3 Dark Grey.

Powdercoat Finish:
Red with a high gloss luster
